What is the best email sign off?

Research clearly shows that the best way to sign off business email is with “regards” or “kind regards”. While there are occasions for using “thanks”, “cheers” and other signs off, “regards” is a safe choice.

As Karen Hertzberg of Grammarly says “Yes, it’s a bit stodgy, but it works in professional emails because there’s nothing unexpected or remarkable about it.”

Makes me realise I should change my sign off – how about you?
