Using Outlook's Conversation View and Clean Up Tools
One of the issues coming up more and more in my various 1:1 coaching sessions (and the Dr Email Q&A Forums) is the use of the Conversation View and how to clean up long threads of email.
So, here are two links that explain how these work;
Conversation View & Clean Up
1: How to use Outlook’s Conversation View
This view groups all messages in a conversation thread (even if they are in different folders, including Sent) with the most recent email appearing at the top. The link above shows the ‘how to’ for Classic, NEW and web versions of Outlook.
2: How to use Outlook’s Conversation Clean Up function
This gets rid of all redundant messages in the thread so you only see the most current one
You’ll love learning about these.
P.S. You can also group threaded conversations by right clicking on an email and selecting ‘Find related’ > ‘Messages in this Conversation’ (see example below)).
