The Final Episode: Closing the Dr. Email Forum
After years of answering your toughest questions about email productivity, organisation, and inbox sanity — this is it. The final episode of the Dr. Email Q&A forum.
When I started this forum, getting a straight answer about email strategy meant digging through conflicting advice, outdated blog posts, or waiting for someone like me to respond. That was the gap this community was built to fill — and I'm proud of every question answered, every overflowing inbox rescued, and every "I finally got this under control" message I received along the way.
But the landscape has shifted in a fundamental way.
The rise of AI has changed what's possible. Anyone can now get instant, thoughtful, personalised answers to their email productivity questions — at any hour, without a waiting list, without a forum thread. The very problem this community was built to solve has largely been solved, and solved well.
Running a Q&A forum well takes real time and energy — time spent reading, researching, writing, and keeping up with an ever-evolving inbox culture. Rather than pour that energy into a format the world has outgrown, I've decided to direct it somewhere it can create more value.
Ai can answer the questions you think to ask . . . but not the ones you don’t. My experience allows me to answer the question you DON’T think to ask and solve the problems you DON’T realise you have. So I aim to still be available but in more of a supportive, coaching role - solving deeper, underlying issues rather than the surface ones.
So with genuine gratitude, I'm closing the forum after this final episode. Thank you for every question, every follow-up, every bit of curiosity you brought here. You made this worth doing.
Warm regards,
Steuart
