Dr Email Online Q&A Forum - 17 April 2020
Here are answers to some of the questions I answered in today’s Dr Email Forum.
The Dr Email Forum is a free weekly online Q&A session every Friday at 11am (AEST). You can jump online with me to share, diagnose and troubleshoot your current challenges, frustrations and problems with managing your email and workload. If your ‘email is sick’ or your just ‘sick of your email’, join us for chat and I’ll prescribe a band-aid or a Panadol or a course of anti-biotics or whatever is needed to fix your malady.
Simply click this link - https://zoom.us/j/469204526 and/or click here to register and receive the weekly calendar invites for the Dr Email Forum.

“Could you provide a list of suggested books I could read to help me be more productive?”
Here’s a short list of books I recommend;
The First Two Hours by Donna McGeorge
Atomic Habits by James Clear
Deep Work by Cal Newport
Solutions to Information Overload by Nathan Zeldes
Mindset by Carol Dweck
Part of our discussion was that, in the current COVID 19 environment, many EAs feel that their role is undervalued by their boss (and even in their own eyes) but I reminded them that while the boss is the head, that head turns on a neck (their EA) and the following short clip from My Big Fat Greek Wedding summarises this nicely.
We discussed some of the excellent concepts that Donna McGeorge write about in her book “The First 2Hours” and the model that the book is based upon.
